This Canadian Mountain Lodge takes you from off the grid and into the wilderness. Unusually accessible of the Trans-Canada Highway, Storm Mountain Lodge was constructed in 1922 as one of eight Bungalow Camps built by Canadian Pacific Railway to promote tourism in the Rocky Mountains.
This is a great way to get the full Canadian Rockies experience with historic cabins, with log beds made by the owner, and everything from the fresh food, wine lists and gifts being sourced in Canada.
